Sport is a kind of culture that the human being has created in accordance with meeting its own needs What effects will sport throw to human being? What kind of supporting will the development of human society offer to sport? To answer these questions will be immense and realistic meaning This article drew some conclusions, there are as follow: (1) Sport has the inherent and essential function to perfect a person's body and mind, and it is the necessary means of enhancing the national quality Improving the function of sport's contributing to the social development, we must be based on the fulcrum of fitness (2) Sport has the clear-cut and audio-visual effects on improving the social operating mechanism and is the important means of ensuring social progress To understand the effect of sport on the social progress, we should insist on the dynamic view of mutual influence between sport and society (3) Sport has the wide and deep effect on promoting spiritual civilization, and is one special means of realizing the human's freedom Considering the value of sport's propelling the social forward, we should insist on the equilibrium view of the harmony in human body and mind (4) As long as we base ourselves on the fulcrum of fitness, and grasp the mutual dynamic law between sport and society, and insist on realizing the object of human develop in all-round way, sport must make the best possible use of its promoting society usefulness
