摘要
采用文献研究的方法,对我国使用"社会体育"、"群众体育"这一基本术语的过程进行了界定。结果表明,社会体育一词并非肯定"由日本舶来",也不是20世纪"80年代初出现在我国",而是1918年先于日本出现在我国。"群众体育"一词也并非随着新中国成立而"应运而生",而是1929年即由我国学者使用。
In this paper the origin and development of the terms 'social sport' and 'mass sport' were studied based on documents research. It is proved that the term 'social sport' was not introduced from Japan, neither was it emerged in China in the early 1980's, but it was first emerged in china as early as in 1918. The term 'mass sport' was also used by Chinese scholars in early 1929, not that the term was first used with the founding of the People's Republic of China.
