中医诊法的特色与优势是无创伤性获取病理信息、司外揣内的功能观察 ,整体恒动的诊察观 ,别具一格的诊察方法。它的不足是难以全部从“司外”而“揣内”,本质与现象不统一时易产生误诊 ,病状信息的模糊性易导致诊断的主观性。

Getting the pathological information without traumatism,observing function through the outside change,surveying the wide dynamic change,which is the speciality and advantage of the diagnostic method of TCM. The deficiency is that it's hard to get all information from observing the outside change to speculate what happen in inside body,and sometimes the phenomena are different from the substance which will lead to misdiagnose,accompanying by some subjective diagnostic coming from the ambiguous pathological information.
