Ever since the comparative studies of Chinese and western culture began to prevail, there have been various forms with extraordinary splendor, some seeking similarities, some differences. The author of the present article takes view of Einstein in the proposition that 'the identification of problems is more important than the solution of them.' In the activities of seeking realistic significance implied in the cultural, ideological facts of history, the article attempts to take some initial quest from Delivering and Dallying, seen as the core problems of Chinese and western traditional culture and other related problems.
