The concept of relative F compactness is defined and some characteristic theorems of relative F compactness are given. A series of properties of relative F compactness are discussed, and it is proved that the relative closed hereditary, weak homeomorphic invariant, L good extension and multiplicativity of induced relative F compact spaces are all right. Finally, the connection of the relative F compactness and other relative compactness is investigated.
