古今中外的许多艺术家,都十分重视艺术作品的道德意义或价值,强调艺术家的伦理自觉,认为艺术价值的高下与艺术家自身的伦理人格密切相关。因此,他们不仅在反映美的事物时,注意以美引善,而且在反映丑的事物时,也十分注意以丑导善。

Many artists of ancient and mordem , Chinese and foreign are all attach importance to the moral significance or value of a work of art. They stress ethical consciousness of themselves and think superiority or inferiority of artistic value is closely related to ethical character of themselves .Therefore they not only pay attention to introuducing good by beautifulness when are reflecting the beautiful things but also even pay attention to introuducing good by ugliness when they are reflecting ugly things.
