Estimation of Expansion Terms for Measuring the Field Distribution in Single Mode Fiber with Matched Spatial Filter

In the references[1], a new method of using matched spatial filter to measure the field distribution in single mode fiber has been proposed. It is even more important to estimate the expansion terms for this new method. This paper gives the estimation of expansion terms with the help of Gauss fitting. The estimation results is in accord well with the experimental results.
