摘要
结合过完备小波变换和凸集投影集(POCS)算法,提出了一种对信道差错鲁棒的多描述编码算法.该算法在编码器端采用过完备小波变换来引入冗余,并通过量化比例因子来调整编码中的冗余度;在解码器端使用POCS算法来重建图像.实验表明,该算法在删除信道中具有非常优良的性能,它不仅能利用冗余的小波变换系数来提高中心解码器的性能,还能利用冗余小波变换系数来克服信道差错.
An error robust multiple description coding algorithm was proposed, which combines the overcomplete wavelet transform and projection onto convex sets (POCS). This coding algorithm adopts an overcomplete wavelet transform at the encoder to import redundancy, and regulate the redundancy by quantizing the ratio factor. At the decoder, the POCS algorithm is adopted to reconstruct the image. The experiments show that the algorithm has excellent performance in the erasure channel, since it utilize the redundant wavelet coefficients to enhance the image quality of central decoder and overcome the effect of channel error.
