热带西太平洋和印度洋海表温度的时空分布特征

FEATURES OF THE SST TIME—SPACE DISTRIBUTION IN THE TROPICAL WESTERN PACIFIC AND THE INDIAN OCEAN

利用COADS资料对热带西太平洋和印度洋海表温度(SST)的变化分布进行了研究。首先给出该区域冬、夏季平均分布状况,讨论了该区域中SST变化较活跃的几个海区同印度洋、太平洋其他区域的基本关系。然后对此范围内SST距平的时空分布特征进行分析,得出其分布型及随时间的演变。

Variation of SST and its time—space distribution in the tropical western Pacific and the Indian Ocean are studied by using the comprehensive ocean—atmosphere data set (COADS). The average distributions of SST in the winter and summer seasons over the ocean domain are given and the relationships between the few areas in which SST anomalies are relatively active and the other areas in the domain are discussed. Based on the analysis of the time—space distribution features of SST anomaly,some space distribution patterns and their evolution with time are obtained.
