摘要
李觏认为气是太极,为万物之本原;气具有阴阳之二性,二性的交合、变化、运动产生万物。他的气本原说具有朴素唯物主义的倾向,但是他的唯物主义思想却不彻底。
Li Gou thought that the qi (universal breath) was the source of the universe. It bore the nature of Yin and Yang. The combination, change and motion of everything on the earth derived from qi. Li Gou' s Qi Source Theory was characterized with simple and incomplete, inconsistent materialism.
