Towards a Self-Identity Crisis on the Internet

关于网络技术与人的自我认同之间的关系,技术哲学和技术社会学的视角表明:网络自我认同危机问题的出现,建立在独特的网络行为的基础之上,并具体表现为网络依赖、网络综合症、网络空间角色混乱、交往中的信任危机、自我价值的否定,等。网络自我认同危机的基本特征为:多极主体性、非常规人际互动性、非信任性。鉴于自我认同危机在前现代社会隐匿而在现代社会凸现的发生发展特点,网络自我认同危机根源的实质在于,在网络社会情境中,人的自我恒常性(稳定性)与适应性(变化性)的矛盾越来越尖锐。

The present essay analyses the relationship between network technology and people's self-identity from the perspective of technological philosophy and technological sociology.It points out that the arising of the problem of a self-identity crisis on the Internet is based on peculiar cyber behaviour,and the manifestations of the self-identity crisis are:network dependence,a network syndrome,cyberspace role confusion,a trust crisis,a denial of self-value,etc.Also,the basic features of a self-identity crisis on the Internet include:multiple subjectivity,abnormal human interaction and distrustfulness,and so on.
