本文对定远营的建城目的和阿拉善王入居的历史背景作了分析,对城市的环境、布局和建筑做了描述。指出了定远营及其建筑的历史文化意义和文物价值,并提出保护的建议。
This artical presents an analysis of the purpese for which Dingyuan- ying City was founded,and of the historical background in which the king of Alxa moved into the city.It also gives an account of the city's environment,architectural layout and contructional planning.With the historical significance appraised,the worth of cultural relics estimated and the architectural attainments evaluated,an appeal for preservation of the city remains is made.
