人类正在步入信息时代 ,媒介文化日益广泛深刻地影响着人类当代的日常生活。信息技术的发展和传播的革命正在对教育产生重大影响 ,给现代教育带来前所未有的挑战和机遇。这主要表现为网络教育对“国家教育”的挑战、对学校教育的挑战、对教师权威和法定课程的挑战、对传统教育思想与教育理论的挑战 ,使制度化教育向非制度化教育转变 ,向学习化社会转变。同时 ,信息技术的飞速发展以及在教育领域的广泛运用 ,开辟了素质教育的可能空间 ,为大学实施文化素质教育提供了新的途径。

Medium culture is becoming a daily necessity in information age. The development and spread of IT is producing significant influence for education and bringing unprecedented challenge and opportunity to modern education, which is mainly shown in internet education that poses a strong challenge to national education, to school education, to teacher's authority and regulated courses, to traditional educational ideology and theories. This challenge causes the shift from systematized education to non-systematized education and study-orientated society. At the same time, the development and application of IT have opened up available scope for quality education and offered necessary conditions for colleges and universities to implement cultural education.
