红山文化骨柄玉石刀的制做理念和工艺与殷志强先生商榷

On the Ideas ana Craltsmanship of the Making at Jade knife with Bone Handle Tentative discussion with M.Yin Zhiqiang

数年前，一位藏家拿着2000年第8期《收藏家》杂志来寒舍卧游“红山”。当我读完其中刊载的殷志强先生的文章《新发现的红山文化骨柄玉石刀》(以后简称“殷文”)，在赞叹台湾藏家收藏的红山文化骨柄玉石刀的完整、精美的同时，对“殷文”中某些论点却不敢苟同。因时间关系，只能给藏友做一些简单解答，并告知以后一定好好琢磨、琢磨。谁知杂务缠身，这一琢磨竟延至今日。

The author has to beg to differ with Mr. Yin Zhiqiang who published earlier an article on the jade knife with bone handle of Hie Hongshan Culture.The author holds that the choice of a combination of multiple blades is for the purpose of convenience and conservation of materials as jade knife with bone handle is a tool for daily use and easy to wear and that it is not failure to find bigger blocks of jade materials as Yin claims. He also holds that blades are made by pressing and cutting technology rather than the results of repeated use as defined by Yin.
