清朝最后十年间建立的警察与警察制度,是中国近代警政发展的开端,后历经南京临时政府时期、北洋政府时期、南京国民政府时期的迅速发展,近代警察制度渐趋成熟与完备。这一阶段,是我国警察行政逐步地向职能独立化、组织系统化、行为法制化、服装统一化渐进的时期,它使中国警政走上了近代化的道路。

Systems of police and the police which was set up during the last decade in Qing Dynasty was the beginning of the China's modern policy system. Through the period of the Nanjing Provisional Government, the Beiyang Government, Nanjing Government, modern systems of police become ripe and complete gradually. During this period, the function of police administration in our country became independence, the organization became systematization, the behavior became legalization, and the clothing became unification. It makes China's systems of policy on the way to modernization.
