古代佛教文化对中华文明的发展产生了重要影响。特别是大藏经的翻译和传播,对我国古代很多少数民族文字的创制、发展和成熟起到了巨大的推动作用。对我国多种民族文字大藏经的形成及其对我国古代一些少数民族文字创制所起的催化作用以及造成这种现象的原因进行了重点分析。

Ancient Buddhism exerts an important influence on the development of Chinese civilization, especially the translation and diffusion of Dazangjing (a term for all the Buddhist scriptures in Chinese), which has greatly affected the development of the scripts in ancient Chinese ethnic groups. The formation of Dazangjing and its influence on the scripts of other ethnic groups and the causes are analyzed.
