摘要
以英语为本族语的作者在标题中很少使用破折号 ,而汉语标题中大量使用破折号。我国译者在英译标题时多有不当之处。本文在分析我国多种期刊错译、误译标题中破折号不同情况的基础上 。
The paper mainly discusses how to translate article titles with dashes into English. With an analysis of many inappropriately translated titles in journals, the author puts forward some methods of translating some Chinese article titles into English in four aspects:the using of colon, non colon method, the analysis of dash and misunderstanding in title translation.
