Get a Clear Understanding of the Situation, Deepen the Reform and Promote the Rapid Development of Normal Higher Edueation

国务院颁发的《面向 2 1世纪教育振兴行动计划》给高师提出了光荣而艰巨的任务。社会经济对教育需求的日益增长与教育相对滞后之间的矛盾 ,发展教育需要大量的高水平师资与师范教育发展缓慢之间的矛盾 ,使得高师面临着严峻形势和挑战 ,高师要实现大发展 ,必须以转变教育思想观念为先导 ,深化高师改革 ,并正确处理好改革中的各种关系 ,保证改革的顺利进行。

The “Action Program to Rejuvenate Edueation Towards the 21st Century” promulgated by the State Council has put forth a glorious arduous task.The contradictions between the increasing social eeonomic needs of education and the relative hold-up of education,and between the need of a large number of high-quality teachers for educational development and the slow developement of normal education enable normal colleges and universities to face a severe situation and challenge.To realize the tremendous development of normal higher learning,it is necessary for us to change our edutiounal mentality first and then deepen the reform in normal eolleges and universities and correctly handle all sorts of relations brought about during the reform of education.
