在普通的饲养条件下，对昆明小鼠进行了体重增长、脏器重量及生产性能的研究。结果表明：昆明小鼠平均产仔数13．72只／胎，平均初生重1．89g、乳仔成活率98．41％。体重增长快，日增重：2周内0．665g；2周至6周，雄鼠0．7g，雌鼠0559；7周至10周，雄鼠0．38g，雌鼠0．32g。雌鼠生产胎间隔：平均23．33d.
