随着城市物质、文化建设日益现代化 ,体育文化在现代城市中开始逐步兴起 ,体育文化对城市文化的影响受到社会更多关注。由于体育文化的传播、发展对物质有较强的依赖性 ,人们对物质的拥有 ,休闲时间越来越多。体育文化在城市里已逐渐表现得平民化、生活化和社会化。体育文化在服务城市文化过程中主要起着丰富和充实城市文化内涵 ,促进城市精神升华 ,对城市文化起着潜移默化的作用。

Sports culture is from beginning to developing and rising as the material and cultural modernization in some cities. So the effect of the cultures of modern city by sports culture is more concerned. Though dissemination and development of the sports culture mainly depended on material basis, and sports culture gradually turn to popularization and socialization when citizens have more and more material and spare time. Also, the sports culture affects the city culture, such as, it fully enrich the construction form consumer culture to commercial culture, from architecture culture to tourism culture, and from citizens culture to stocks culture; it's to promote city spiritual civilization, and cultural innovations.
