It is an important fact to compile imitative program in OS experiment. Random function is usually used in the course of imitative program. This paper introduces the function、prototype and the way of transfer of standard random function provided by C language. A method that produces well-distributed randon function Gauss method is also introduced.By use of an experiment'the algerithm of process schedule', the specific use of random function in the imitative program is detailed. This paper is of positive significance for student studying OS.
