Sample preparation and purification are crucial in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) analysis by marix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight-mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS). Progress in these ~aspects has been made in recent several years. The improvement in preparing and purifying DNA samples is summarized in this article briefly.
