同素异序词的形成原因至今还没有完全弄清楚,一般认为它跟平仄押韵、方言和汉语构词的不稳定性有关,通过对同素异序词的全面考察,发现这些原因存在一些疑点,它的形成跟平仄押韵、方言等关系不大,它主要是利用汉语词序的灵活性有意识创造出来的。

t is not yet clear today about the cause to the formation of the Chinese word with same morphemes but in a reversed sequence. Such formation is generally considered to be related to the Chinese level tone rhyming, dialects and exceptional cases of word-formation. According to the writer's study, however, this is doubtful,as it is related to flexible Chinese word-sequence.
