Architecture is a mirror of geographical conditions and historical culture. There exist many differences between traditional Chinese architecture and Western architecture as far as the building materials, building structure, architectural distribution, decorative colors, artistic style and aesthetic value are concerned. By analyzing the geographical conditions, cultural conceptions …etc, this paper tends to provide us with some interesting causes and factors contributing to such kind of differences.
