摘要
文根据清末新疆有关地方史志资料的记载。对新疆的方神庙进行了分析考证,指出方神 是在反对和卓叛乱、维护祖国统一的斗争中,为救民于水火而英勇牺牲的戍边爱国之士。
In this paper Fang-god temples in Xinjiang is analyzed and discussed according to the records of Xinjiang local history of the end of the Qing dynasty. It is concluded that the Fang - god is originally a soldier who was sent to garrison the frontiers and died a heroic death in a fight against Hoja rebellion to safeguard the unity of the motherland.
