It was the history and the people that choose the Communist Party of China as the ruling party. Under the new situation, the constant improvement of the CPC.'s governance capability in running the socialist market economy, in developing socialist democratic politics, in building advanced socialist culture, in constructing the harmonious socialist society and in handling the international situation and international affairs, is not only the result that the Party summarizes the governance experience over the past 55 years deeply, but also the important guarantee for the Party to overcome various kinds of difficulties and dangers, to succeed in leading the socialist revolution and construction cause. Under the new situation, the realization of the three historical tasks entrusted by the era requests the Party to strengthen the construction of governance capability in an all-round way, improve the Party 's governance level constantly, and consolidate the Party's governance status.
