摘要
语言与文化的研究者有很多关于颜色与文化方面的研究 ,但只是列举汉语与另一语言中颜色词的内涵而得出中西文化差异的结论 ,有其片面性。本文分析了颜色词的文化伴随意义 ,指出颜色词的内涵在不同的文化中既有某些相同或相似之处 ,由于民族深层文化的影响 ,颜色词在不同的文化中又表现为差异性 ,这种差异不能简单地说成东西文化差异 ,同一个语系的颜色词内涵也可能存在根本的不同。颜色词的联想意义由于生活环境、思想观念、宗教信仰 ,以及时代等不同而各异。
In this paper I exam the connotations of color words in different cult ures. The main findings are: Color words mean differently in different cultures ,though they have the same meanings or the same usages in some sense. Even in t he same language system, the same color word is associated with different thing s. And the connotation of color words is developing with times.
