摘要 通过英语阅读的目的和要求、阅读策略、文化背景知识及阅读试题检测等几方面的问卷调查 ,指出毕节师专学生英语阅读水平较低及存在这一现状的原因在于学生对阅读课的目的和要求认识不足、所采用的阅读策略不恰当、所具备的文化背景知识比较贫乏以及阅读材料陈旧、阅读测试方式不尽科学。最后就如何解决这些问题、帮助学生提高阅读水平提出了一些建议。 The article analyzes the questionnaire about Reading aim, reading strategy, cultural background and the checking of reading test. And then,it indicates that the students of Bijie Teachers College are not quite capable of reading. Furthermore, the article points out that the reason is that the students fail to understand the aim of reading course, use inefficient reading strategy and master poor cultural background knowledge, and that the reading materials used by the students are out of date and the reading test taken by the students are lack of scientific methods. Finally, it makes suggestions on how to solve the problems and help the students improve their reading comprehension ability.
