The way of humans, whether individual or social, to perceive the world and pass on knowledge has undergone a process from orality to literacy. Beginning from the end of the last century, humans, due to technologization, have advanced onto the age of electronic culture, or hypertext culture. The paper makes a contrast of characteristics between orality based on audibility and literacy based on sight, and further points out technologization actually results from touch, which is one of the basis of the formation of hypertext culture.
