摘要
计算机辅助外语教学为外语教学开辟了新的天地,而系统功能语言学可以为计算机辅助外语教学提供新的视角和理论基础.计算机辅助外语教学具有多维性、集成性、交互性和角色转换性等特点;新的外语教学手段使外语教学发生了新的变化,包括信息量的暴涨、学习的个性化、语言材料的形象化和真实化、学习环境的多元化、提供大量背景、为学生提供直接参与交际的机会等.从系统功能语言学的角度讲,在诸多涉及外语教学的因素中,计算机辅助外语教学主要在情景和语音文字两个层次上提供新的有利条件.根据系统功能语言学,外语教学的目的是发展学生的"意义潜势",通过语言在社会交际中的功能来学习语言,发展意义潜势.
The present article investigates how systemic functional linguistics can be applied to CAI in foreign languages, and provides it with a new theory and a new point of reference. From the point of view of systemic functional linguistics, within the factors concerned with foreign language teaching, CAI mainly provides foreign language teaching with new favorable conditions at the levels of context and sound and writing. According to systemic functional linguistics, the aim of foreign language teaching is develop the “meaning potential” of the students through the functions of language in social communications. More specifically,it is to display fully the merits of the facilities of CAI in foreign languages, and stick to some basic principles which make full use of CAI in language teaching to improve the efficiency and quality of foreign language teaching.
