摘要
对阿多诺对文化工业和现代艺术之间关系的思考的考察发现 ,这两者之间存在相对模糊的界限以及它们自身结构中不同的技术。文化工业有其限制消费者思考的特征 ,现代艺术有其认知特性。
In Adorno's theory, modern art is not the simple antithesis of the culture industry. Instead, they are 'the torn halves of an integral freedom'. It is from this point that this article seeks to understand Adorno's considerations of their relations. The author of this article makes clear the vague boundary between the modern art and the culture industry in light of Adorno's theory and different techniques in these two structures. The article then explores Adorno's ideas about how the culture industry cancels the consumers' thinking through producing pleasures and using schema and how the modern art achieves its cognitive functions through suffering images. In the end an analysis of the autonomy of modern art and the heteronomy of culture industry and their significances are offered.
