柱撑粘土 (PillaredClay)是 2 0世纪 70年代末期迅速发展起来的一种类分子筛催化材料 .它具有大小可调节的孔径和大的孔道容量 .这种多孔结构造成它的比表面积很大 ,具有大量的酸中心 ,高的热稳定性 ,强表面酸性及催化活性基层 ,使柱撑粘土成为在催化反应中极富吸引力的一种物质 ,它可以作为催化剂载体也可以直接用做催化剂 .

Pillared Interlayer Clay(PILC) or Cross Linked Clay(CLC) is a new-style porous material. It possesses several interesting properties, such as large surface area, high pore volume and tunable pore size (from micropore to mesopore), high thermal stability, strong surface acidity and catalytic active substrates. These unique characteristics make CLC an attractive material in catalyst surpport or directly used as a catalyst.
