丰子恺老师的漫画、散文享誉国际 ,但其在音乐方面的贡献却鲜为人知。适逢丰老师逝世三十周年 ,作为他的学生理应把他当年教导我们的情景及他一生的主要业绩凭记忆书写出来 ,已表示我对丰老师辛勤教导的敬意 ,并以其苦学态度和创造精神激励后学者。

While his caricature and prose are world famous, Mr. Feng Zikai's contribution on music is hardly known by public. On his special date, as one of his students, I should recall his teaching principles and contribution. Not only to show my respect to my industrious teacher, but to encourage the followers with his diligence and innovation.
