汉语句法语义研究述评

A Review of the Semantic Studies of Chinese Syntax

意义和形式的关系是语言学的根本问题。汉语有重视语义的传统,《马氏文通》和《中国文法要略》即有相当高度的语义研究,但缺乏理论自觉。经过回避意义的结构主义时期,20世纪80年代以来,汉语界展开了广泛而自觉的语义研究,从而加深并拓展了句法结构研究,这使语言学进入了一个新的时代。

Semantics constitutes a fundamental concern in linguistics. And Chinese linguistics is noted for its heritage in semantic studies as shown in such works as《马氏文通》and 《中国文法要略》. However, it lacks theory consciousness. For a period of time dominated by the Structuralism, Chinese linguistics was evasive of its semantic aspect. Ever since 1980s, the academia has been making extensive and conscious researches in Chinese semantics, which in turn helps deepen and expand syntactic studies. In this way, it brings Chinese linguistics into a new age.
