The information from the Society for Information Display International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition (SID 2003) heldin May in Baltimore showed that LCD would switch from current business applications to ordinary consumers. The reasonsbehind that trend are increasing G5 and G6 fabs being under operation and the resulted sharp price-declining of LCD panelespecially those with large screen. iSuppli/Stanford Resources expects LCD TV will have a CAGR of 60% from 2002 to 2007.
