21世纪国际经济、科技的竞争,我国普通高校体育教学改革同其它教育改革一样,也步入了“21世纪素质教育”为主题的新阶段。由于新技术革命加快了由工业化社会向信息化社会的发展,信息时代的到来,将从根本上改变人类社会的生产方式,工作方式、学习方式、生活方式乃至思维方式。社会对人才的综合素质提出更高的要求。因此,在现代体育教学中,教师应走在时代的前面,转变观念,提高自身的素质,较好地完成现代体育教育的任务。

To meet the development requirement of the world economy,science and technology step towards college physical education reformation as well as the other forms of education,with the theme of“performance education geared to the needs of 21st century.”The new technological revolution speeds up the evolution of the industrialized society towards the information society,The information era will bring about the conversion of the modes of production,work,study,life,and thought,which requires more talents of high-level competence.A physical education teacher,therefore,should improve his mind so as to go with the stream and to fulfill his duty better.
