Women in The Well——the Idea on the Image of the Well in the New Period Literature

新时期文学是对历史的重写,而"井"是中国前现代文化最重要的符码。因此,新时期文坛涌现出很多口"井"。陆文夫的《井》、郑义的《老井》、铁凝的《秀色》和苏童的《妻妾成群》是新时期文学中四口关于女人的"井",它们各自体现了作家对传统、女性和人生的文化阐释。

The new period 1iterature is the rewriting of the history,and the Well is the most important symbol in the pre-modern culture of China.Therefore,many wells appeared in the new period literary circles.'The Well' by LU Wen-fu,'The Aged Well' by ZHENG Yi,'Beautiful Scenery' by TIE Ning,and 'The Wives and Concubines' by SU Tong are the four 'wells' about the women in the new period literature,which eath embody the writer's cultural interpretation of the tradition,women and human life.
