纪检机关在党的执政能力建设中的作用,是通过党的自身建设这一中介体现和发挥出来的。纪检机关应当从自己本部门的工作实际出发,根据中央提出的总体要求,寻求自身在党的执政能力建设中的着重点和着力点。纪检机关当前应当着重抓好进一步增强监督和执纪的能力,进一步增强适应并服务于市场经济的能力,进一步增强依法办案、依法执纪的能力,进一步增强维护党内民主、保障党员权利的能力等几个方面的问题。
