It has become the consensus that quality is the lifeline of the development for institutions of higher learning. This is even more important to private colleges and universities, to which Shuren University belongs. From the aspects of concepts with orientation, input with guarantee, system with management, advanced studies of the teaching staff, and deepening of the teaching reform, the paper analyses the work done by Shuren University in the past twenty years in taking teaching as the center and teaching quality as the lifeline and in training hi-quality practical personnel for the society and the market.
