On the basis of description of ultrasonic detection procedure for steel product 10Ni3MnCuAl,the reliability of ultrasonic detection procedure for quality control has been proved. Accurate data can be provided to improve product quality of steel 10Ni3MnCuAl by using ultrasonic detection and flaw chart analysis. Economic feasibility and necessity of ultrasonic detection has been described.
