中国“返关”与东莞产业调整

CHINA'S REJOINING GATT AND DONGGUAN'S INDUSTRIAL RESTRUCTURE

我国正在谈判恢复“关贸总协定”缔约国地位。“复关”意味着国际市场对我国将全面对等地开放。一方面,我们面临着一个进入和发展国际市场,参与国际分工的绝好机会;另一方面,“复关”后的开放市场,打破了贸易壁垒,又会对我国及我市的大批企业产生强烈的冲击。本文从东莞经济的特点出发,分析了中国“复关”后,将会对东莞市的机械电子行业、纺织服装行业、食品保健饮料行业、新型建材行业及医疗行业的强烈冲击,并在此基础上,提出了相应的对策。

China is trying to regain her status as one of the signatories to the GATT through negotiations. Rejoining the GATT means that the international market will be fully opened towards our country On the one hand, we are facing a perfect opportunity to enter and develop it so as to get involved in the international division of duty; on the other hand, the open market, after China's rejoining GATT, will break through the trade barrier and make a great impact upon the enterprises in China as well as in Dongguan. From the characteristic of Dongguan's economy, this paper analyzes the great impact, after China's rejoiningGATT, upon industries, such as mechanics, electronics, textiles and clothing, food and health drinks, new-type building materials and medicines etc. What's more, countermea-sures are suggested to deal with this situation.
