分形通信量预测算法研究

A New Arithmetic for Predicting Fractal Network Traffic

摘要  最近一些研究显示无论是有线还是无线通信网络,其通信量具有分形性(或称自相似性),分形特征将严重影响通信网络优化、资源分配以及性能预测.因此,分形通信量的预测在通信网络管理与设计中扮演中非常重要的角色.现结合FGN过程和XE-NLMF递归方程,给出了一种分形通信量预测算法.实验结果表明该算法具有较好的性能. Recent studies have revealed that teletraffic appears to be statistically fractal. The fractal nature of teletraffic affects network optimization, resource distribution, and performance predication, and so on. Thus, fractal teletraffic predication plays an important role in network management and design. In this paper, a new arithmetic, based on FGN and recursive equation of XE-NLMF arithmetic, is proposed to predict the fractal teletraffic. Simulation results show that the predication performance is improved greatly over the others.
