The article discussed the new challenge, opportunities and the development of agriculture with high production, better quality and high efficiency that agriculture will be facing after resuming the position of P. R. China in GATT when the agriculture enters the market. These will need futher strenthening of agricultural information and its systematic establishment, deepening the development of information resource to realize the service for the agriculture with high production, better quality and high efficiency.
