SOMERSET,Pa.,July 27.In what rescuerscalled“a miracle”(奇迹),drilling teams latetonight punched(打孔)through the roof of a tinychamber 240 feet deep in a flooded coal mineand immediately made contact with nine minerswho had been trapped there for the past threedays. Officials said all the nine were in reason-ably good health and would be extracted asquickly as possible.
