The test linked the production of phytase with a genetic engineering strain of Pichia pastoris by liquid fermentation. The production conditions of high yield of the phytase was tested. The result indicated that the most favorable conditions for the production are 4% glycerol, 1% of (NH 4) 2SO 4. 1% seed inoculation volume and 0.8% KH 2PO 4. In addition, the production was effected significantly by the initial pH.
