Heap leaching is a gold extracting process widely used in gold production. With Siemens S7-300 PLC as the control core, a microcomputer monitoring system was designed, realizing the automatic control of reagent addition and spraying in gold heap leaching. The S7-300 control flowchart and the program design of communication between S7-300 and computer are given.
