摘要
汉语成语由于其言简意赅、形式简洁 ,历来是人们所喜闻乐见的语言材料 ,大量含有动物寓意的成语更是在人们的语言文化中占据着十分重要的地位。本文就这类成语的英译问题分四个方面进行了分析 ,阐述了其翻译过程中的复杂性及灵活性 ,以使译文能够准确。
Chinese idioms are the language material loved by people because of their conciseness, comprehensiveness and the brevity. The large number of Chinese idioms of animal morality play an important role in literature and daily communication. In order to convey their original ideas correctly, completely and exactly, the paper makes an analysis of the issue from four aspects, which elucidates the complexity and flexibility of the translation.
