强化听说训练克服“聋哑”顽症——谈民族地区高师英语教育专业基础阶段学生听说能力的培养

Intensify Listening and Speaking in the Junior Stages

“听”、“说”是学习英语最困难 ,然而又是最关键的环节。在基础阶段应该攻破“听说”难关 ,特别是高师英语教育专业的学生 ,必须具有较强的“听说”能力。因此 ,在基础阶段应加大“听说”训练的力度 ,注意纠正学生的发音错误 ,强调朗读背诵 ,尽可能用英语授课 ,鼓励学生多讲多练 ,使学生的语音语调正确 ,语言流畅地道 。

Listening and speaking,the most important skills in second language learning,are chief obstacles for English learners especially for those in ethnic areas.However,these are the essential prerequisites to English majors who are trained to be teachers after graduation.As such,to improve the students ability in listening and speaking becomes a must in the junior stages of their college study,during which teachers should pay more attention to students’ errors in pronunciation,focus on reading aloud and recitation of good passages,lecture in English as much as possible,and encourage students to speak English in and out of class so that students will be trained to speak English fluently with correct pronunciation and intonation and to be qualified teachers of English.
