With knowledge economy epoch coming,the institution s of higher education as an unique knowledge intensive and learning type organizat ion also need knowledge management.Based on the analysis of the necessity of con structing the learning type organization in the institutions of higher education ,the article clarified the concept and aspects of the learning type organization and knowledge management.Moreover,it puts forward some suggestions about constr ucting the learning type organization of the institutions of higher education by using knowledge management,improving the management innovation and development of the institutions of higher education.
