A special Shrapnel CAD System is developed base on VB software in this article. With the help of VB program and the function of visual user interface,the various modules of functions are assembled to improve the conveniency of Shrapnel CAD System.Meanwhile in the different module,some sophisticated softwares are called by using the 'shell' in VB,enhancing the whole level of the CAD . In practical application ,this approach is very efficient and can be used in development of other application software.
